We are a not-for-profit society whose quest is to bring the best of world and independent cinema to film lovers in and around Winchester. We show sixteen films per year, from September to May, every other Tuesday at 7pm.

We show our films at Winchester’s spectacular Science Centre and Planetarium. With a seating capacity of 168, full surround video and Dolby Surround sound, it’s an incredible audio-visual experience. The reclining seats make for a brilliant view and there is a bar on site with drinks allowed in the auditorium.

Each season is skilfully curated by our film-loving panel, with notes presented for all features, the chance to vote on each film and to make recommendations for future showings. The movies we show are often difficult to see at cinemas elsewhere and truly worthy of a cinematic experience. We always welcome new members and visitors alike.
